What: A summit to discuss what college faculty members really think about college sports, issues affecting academics and athletics, and what can be done to spur more faculty engagement and oversight of athletics departments.

Results of a national study of faculty attitudes about college sports will be released and discussed.

Who: The Faculty Summit is open to all faculty members, university administrators, media, and the general public. Panelists and session leaders will include members of the Knight Commission on Intercollegiate Athletics, faculty members, university presidents and administrators, and athletics administrators.

Where: All sessions will be held at the National Press Club, 529 14th Street NW, Washington, DC.

When: Monday, October 15 from 8:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

There is no charge to participate in this event. A group rate is available at the Marriott Key Bridge for attendees who require lodging on Oct. 14.
